The Arroyo Grande Village Summer Concert Series continues on Thursday, July 4th, with spirited concert band music from the ever popular Village Band. Join your friends at 1:00pm at the Rotary Bandstand in the Village of Arroyo Grande to kick off your day with two sets of rousing patriotic music and John Philip Sousa marches. The South County Historical Society will set the mood with traditional red, white and blue decorations, period costumes and BBQ. The festivities will also shine a spotlight on concert sponsor Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab and the featured nonprofit The Friends of the Arroyo Grande Library. Linda Osty will once again organize a table for attendees to write postcards to US troops stationed overseas. A fun raffle, food, drinks, a new kiddie playground and free tours of historical buildings in Heritage Square Park are also available. Figueroa Mountain Beers and Edna Valley Vineyard Wines will be for sale. This free Series is presented by the Arroyo Grande Village Improvement Association and the City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department. Rabobank again joins these organizations as the Featured Series Sponsor.
