DESCRIPTION:Chris Van Winkle a Watercolor Retrospective\n\nNIPOMO\, CA- Chris Van Winkle\, Watercolor Retrospective\, an exhibition of Chris's Watercolor Paintings will be presented at the Dana Adobe Cultural Center's Gallery November 21st through the month of February. The artwork presented will be from three of his various collection's: Studio Paintings\, The California Scene\, and Trip Paintings. In addition\, on display we will have a of collection of Chris's personal sketchbooks\, one for every trip his wife\, Caroline\, and he made with artists as well as others specifically for his classes he taught at Citrus College. They give a glimpse into the mind of the artist and also illustrate the process by which paintings develop from sketch into finished works of art. A collection of Chris's artwork will be available for sale throughout this showcase. \n\n"All art is abstract. The minute we use line\, we are abstracting.
