Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart the United States
Depart the United States on an overnight flight to Italy.
Day 2 – Rome / Maiori
Upon arrival, proceed to baggage claim and, after clearing customs, you will be met by your professional tour manager and transferred to your hotel in Maiori on the Amalfi Coast. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy an orientation tour of the small sea resort. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail and briefing, followed by dinner at your hotel.
Day 3 – Amalfi Coast Tour
Following breakfast, explore the Amalfi Coast, enjoying landscapes of exceptional beauty. Your first stop is Ravello, perched high on a hilltop overlooking a medieval village with winding cobblestone streets, gardens, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Continue to Amalfi to visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. This afternoon, visit Positano, known for its pastel-colored homes set along the cliffs of the Lattari Mountains. Return to the hotel for a free evening.
Day 4 – Naples (Optional)
Following breakfast, enjoy an optional tour of Naples. This city offers a mix of architectural styles, including palaces, castles, and historic churches. Visit central landmarks such as Piazza del Gesù, Santa Chiara, and the Duomo. Naples is also known for its cuisine, including pizza, pasta, and coffee. After the guided visit, enjoy free time for lunch. Dinner is included at the hotel.
Day 5 – Maiori / Capri (Optional)
Today is at leisure or you may join an optional excursion to Capri. Travel by jetfoil along the Amalfi Coast to Capri, often called the “Pearl of the Mediterranean.” Visit Anacapri, with the option to take a chairlift to Monte Solaro for panoramic views. Explore the town center, Gardens of Augustus, and Marina Grande before returning to Maiori.
Day 6 – Paestum & Salerno
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour to Paestum and Salerno. Visit the ancient Greek temples of Paestum and the archaeological museum. Continue to a local farm for a tasting of buffalo mozzarella. In Salerno, enjoy time to explore the historic center or stroll along the scenic seaside promenade.
Day 7 – Maiori (Leisure Day)
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Maiori. Relax along the coast, explore local shops and cafés, or take in the atmosphere of this popular seaside town. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with live music at the hotel.
Day 8 – Pompeii & Rome
After breakfast, depart for Pompeii. With a local guide, visit the archaeological site preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Continue to Rome, where you will have free time to explore before your overnight stay.
Day 9 – Rome / United States
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Travel to Rome and enjoy a guided city tour including highlights such as the Colosseum (outside view), Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. Evening at leisure.
Day 10 – Rome
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Rome independently or join an optional tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
Day 11 – Return Home
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
