This month, our Chamber CEO, Jeff Chambers, attended Year 2 of the three-year W.A.C.E. Academy in San Francisco—an intensive professional development program for Chamber executives from across the Western U.S. The Academy equips leaders with the tools, strategies, and network to ensure their Chambers remain strong, innovative, and member-focused.
During this year’s program, Jeff gained valuable knowledge in several key areas, including Financial Policy & Procedures, Representing Business with Government, Revenue Development, Membership Retention, Keeping Your Chamber Relevant, and Policy Development.
These insights directly support our mission to be a strong “3C” Chamber—serving as a Catalyst, Convener, and Champion for our community:
Catalyst: Driving growth, innovation, and positive change within the business community.
Convener: Bringing together business leaders, community members, and elected officials to address important issues and build collaboration.
Champion: Advocating for the interests of our members and promoting a thriving business climate and high quality of life.
By continuing his professional growth through W.A.C.E. Academy, Jeff is helping position the South County Chambers of Commerce to better serve our members, strengthen our region’s economy, and make a lasting positive impact on the community.
