Do you recall the movie “The Little Mermaid “? It was a sweet, animated story that exposed the concept of a whole unique world that exists UNDER THE SEA! Though I don’t know of any little mermaids swimming about in our ocean waters, we do have the privilege of SEEING the unique world that lives UNDER THE SEA. I could almost hear the words coming out of the mouth of the Kiwanis Club member as he was asked boldly and respectfully to pay a $10 fine to the Kangaroo Court Judge and reigning Club President Mike Britton. Apparently, it is an unofficial crime to have one’s phone ring when a guest is delivering a presentation.

UNBRIDLED ENTHUSIASM
This poetic sentiment is how I would describe my encounter with Caprice Arkell, co-owner of the spectacular Varian Equestrian Center located at 1275 Corbett Canyon Rd, Arroyo Grande, Ca. 93420. Simon and Caprice Arkell purchased this sprawling beautiful 200-acre horse ranch in the summer of 2023 after serendipitously viewing it on the Zillow site.

PASSION & THE JOY OF ART  
From the moment I met Eric and Jill Von Berg I sensed the genuineness of their hearts and their passion for life. However, it is when I had the pleasure of being welcomed into their art gallery, simply named” The Gallery,” located at 213 E. Branch St. Arroyo Grande, Ca. 93420, that I truly witnessed their smiles light up the room. As I gazed around the gallery hall, with its vaulted ceilings and edgy architectural structures,

Calling ALL PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS and those fortunate enough to carry with them a FUN-LOVING spirit! We have been given a timeless treasure that is worth sharing with one another in our community by the sea. Owners Jason and Melissa Natanson of “THE SKY’S THE LIMIT Toy and Kite Shop” , newly relocated at 541 5 Cities Dr. Pismo, Ca. 93449, have graced our community with a playful wonderland that will surely have you feeling UP…UP…UP LIFTED in very unexpected ways!

MISSION DRIVEN HEARTS
A sentiment that describes poignantly and profoundly the Community Health Centers (CHC) of our Central Coast. As I walked through the doors of the health center located at 2120 Cienega St., Oceano, Ca., I was greeted with warm genuine smiles and a sense of authentic compassion that emanated from each staff member. Instantly I could see that those who serve at CHC are truly DRIVEN by their HEARTS.
